On the left are links to training and award descriptions, plus fun stuff you can change like:

• Discussion Forums. You can start discussion threads here about anything. Just remember the Scout Oath.
• A "Notebook" area to collectively edit shared knowledge. You can add what you know about whatever here, happenings in other councils, good places to buy left handed smoke shifters, backpacking recipes, etc. If this looks like a "wiki", it's because it is.
• A running Announcements blog. This provides an RSS feed, so you can get notified when there are new announcements, if you "do RSS". You can announce 'portant stuff here, too!
• A Photo Gallery that you can poke pics into.

Below left, anyone can register and sign in to access discussion groups, blogs, member email, and other content requiring registration. Registration requires just a valid email address. Please add a photo of yourself to help us learn who we all are.

 Junior Basic Backpacking 2009

On the top of Mt. Allen, dedicated in 1955 to W. Herbert Allen, who donated the mountain to the Boy Scouts. Mt. Allen's peak is the highest point in the Santa Monica Mountains.
