About Me

I'm the scoutmaster of Troop 39 in Lancaster (AV District). My son and I joined back in mid-2005. I ran off to college after getting my Eagle back in 1982, and never looked back. Now I'm giving back. The most enjoyable outings for me as a scout and scouter have been canoe trips down the Colorado River. Hanging out with these mad HATters is a lot of fun. I hope to have more time to wear funny HATs once I'm out of grad school, or retire, or some of our 5 kids grow up, or ... Until then, my contribution is mostly fiddling this web site. It's a pleasant distraction. You'll find a portal to the rest of my life here.
